Palliative care services help improve the quality of life of a patient and reduce cost in hospitalization. The patient has The freedom to go to hospital also continue curative care that will enhance the quality of life of the patient. When the patient deteriorated to the point where the standard of care does not benefit the patient, the patient can be referred to Hospice as to the terminal illness.

Hospice Physician

Works in conjunction with the patient's primary physician.

Social Worker

Assists in providing emotional care to the patient and family members. A social worker also helps address financial issues and with obtaining any governmental support, and if qualified, assists with end-of-life preparations such as funeral and mortuary arrangements.

Registered Nurse

Manages the patient's medical care and is highly skilled in assessing and managing pain and discomfort.

Spiritual Counselor/Chaplain

Works in conjunction with the patient's clergy, is available to provide spiritual support for patient and family is available to conduct or attend memorial services.

Certified Home Health Aide

Assists with personal care (bathing, feeding, etc.) and oversees dental and mouth care.

Hospice Volunteers

Specially trained volunteers that are available to spend time with the patient, offer companionship and provide relief for family.
